What is NAMPO?

NAMPO is a much-anticipated annual event and a notable one in the AgriMag calendar. Held just outside of Bothaville in the Free State province, this exhibition is one of the largest agricultural events under private ownership in the southern hemisphere. The first NAMPO Harvest Day took place back in 1967 on the farm Donkerhoek near Bloemfontein and was attended by 200 producers. Since then, the event has been held at various locations until finding a more permanent home in 1974 at NAMPO Park. Today, the exhibition attracts visitors from all over South Africa and even beyond, with agricultural-minded people and businesses eager to see and showcase the latest innovations and offerings.

An Opportunity To Hear From Experts In The Agricultural Industry

Grain SA's NAMPO Harvest Day is the perfect opportunity for producers and other agricultural industry professionals to get a first-hand look at the latest technology and products available. With more than 750 exhibitors, the NAMPO Harvest Day offers a wide variety of products and services to compare, so you can make informed decisions about what's right for your operation.

In addition to the trade show, there are also opportunities to learn from experts in various fields through discussion panels and debates. Whether you're looking for new equipment or just want to stay up-to-date on the latest trends, NAMPO Harvest Day is a can't-miss event.

NAMPO During The COVID-19 Pandemic

NAMPO, the biggest agricultural show in the Southern Hemisphere, is back with a bang after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With all the necessary safety protocols in place, this annual event is ready to bring farmers and other agricultural role players together for networking, socialising, and sharing the latest trends and innovations. NAMPO has been a mainstay of the local agricultural calendar since the 1960s and remains an important gathering for those involved in this vital industry.

Whether you're a farmer, a role player in agriculture, or someone who isn't in any way connected to farming but want to learn more about it, we hope you'll join AgriMag at the NAMPO Harvest Day from 16 to 20 May and see all that NAMPO 2022 has to offer. Visit the AgriSA website for information.
