How to search on AgriMag and find what you are looking for

Searching for farming-related equipment and services is easy with AgriMag. Our online marketplace is designed to make finding your next piece of equipment hassle-free. Our user search journey can be divided into two simple processes. When on the website, users can use the main tabs that are located at the top of the page (navigation bar or menu) or they can simply use the search tool located just under the main tabs (on the left-hand side on desktop and at the top on mobile).

To understand what is in each category, here is a brief explanation.

Main Search Categories

The main categories on AgriMag are comprised of the following:

1. Farming Equipment: This broad marketplace category covers every major piece of farming equipment that is generally required by commercial and subsistence farm owners to perform their daily farming tasks. This includes, but is not limited to, tractors, balers, combines, ploughs, mowers, planters, and sprayers.
2. Trucks: An important sub-category to farming, our truck marketplace is home to a wide range of new and used transport options that will assist in the transportation of products. You will find anything from box and refrigerated trucks to bowser and tipper trucks and much more. We also offer a truck spares category for when parts and spares require replacing.
3. Machinery: Like mechanical farmhands, this category is dedicated to all the equipment that allows farmers and workers to move stuff around. It includes equipment categories such as forklifts, excavators, TLBs, farming attachments, generators, skidsteers, telescopic loaders, mini excavators, and machinery spares.

Extra Farming and Agricultural Services and Features:

1. Auctions and Events: Our auctions and events listings page is an advertising page that is used by the industry to promote the latest industry-related auctions and events. This page is updated on a regular basis, so if you are looking for a farm or farming equipment on auction or the latest farming event info, then bookmark this page.
2. Dealers: This page is dedicated to all the businesses that are related and relevant to the farming and agricultural industry in South Africa. It is a comprehensive directory of AgriMag-registered dealers that provide users with relevant contact information as well as direct access to the dealers’ stock.
3. Get Alerts: Our online marketplace is also geared for users that want to request a specific type of equipment or for those who would like to set up product alerts. Set up alerts with our “Get Alerts” tool and get notifications sent directly to your inbox. Simply specify all details of the implement or machine you are looking for and indicate how often you want to receive your alerts. We will do the rest.
4. Request Equipment: Looking for specified farming equipment? By filling in our request form, users can reach out to all our registered dealers, detailing what they are looking for. If a dealer has a match, the user will then be contacted.

H2: How to search on AgriMag Users must complete an initial search by filling out their requirements using the search tool or they can simply make a broad category tab selection using the main tabs.

If the search tool is used, the user will be presented with an initial batch of search results once they have clicked the green search button. From this point on a user can then further filter the results by using the relevant product filters displayed in the search bar.

If the user selects a broad category tab, they will be directed to the category landing page where the user can further select the relevant subcategory related to their search requirements. Once a subcategory has been selected, the user will be presented with the relevant search results for that product and a search bar for further results filtering.
